Farm Equipment, Vehicles, Household Items, Tools, Native American/Local Family Histories & More

We encourage you to visit us often and be sure to bring your camera.  Enjoy a wonderful time with family while learning about the rich agricultural heritage and history of the  Nacitone area.  We are particularly proud of our extensive and ever-expanding collection of agricultural equipment and implements.  There are many other unique exhibits within the grounds and in our museum building including automotive and horse-drawn vehicles, graders, Native American (Salinan), household items and tools.  We also have an extensive collection of local family histories and photographs.

Local Family Histories

 Many of our local residents have family roots extending back 4 or 5 generations in the Lockwood, Jolon and Bryson-Hesperia areas.  Our museum has documented family histories of more than 35 pioneer families which are on display in the museum.  An example is included below.
